If you found a bug or a problem with whois engine, below is the form to fill
out. We will post list of reported bugs on the of this webpage too so you should
look there first before making actual report (bugs that can and will be fixed in
day or two will not be reported)
List o Known bugs:
ARIN most specific whois record is not working properly and you always get
results for all levels of swipped blocks
WHOIS_SERVERS_INFO is not fully implemented and results about whois what
whois server is used is almost always presented (in the [ ] brackets).
WHOIS_SERVERS_DISPLAYAUP is not fully implemented and only few of the AUPs
are removed from whois output (from crsnic.net for example).
Under domain options, when asking for ip lookup on nameservers, the list
of nameservers for domain is compiled from DNS records (and not from WHOIS).
Multiple Namespace support is not complete and has serious problems with
dns because our dns server will always do dns lookups in ICANN namespace and
can not change to different namespace (portion of the code that deals with
dns lookups will need to be rewritten to be able to specify dns server for
lookup based on the domain, this is not easy because of the way our code is
written...).
IPv6 nameserver whois data appears as part of domain whois data even if
ipv6 is not enabled (this happens when ipv6 nameserver is registered with
crsnic)
